비욘세의 Hello를 작곡한 시카고출신 디큐와, 저스틴 비버의 'u smile', 크리스 브라운의'back to sleep', One direction의 'gotta be you' 곡을 프로듀싱한 August rigo, 샤이니의 view와 레드벨벳의 dumb dumb 등 많은 히트곡 작곡가인 Denzil "DR" Remedios와 Ryan S. Jhun이 작곡에 참여하여 완성도 높은 곡을 선보였다.
타이틀곡인 sketch는 남녀의 사랑을 그림에 비유하여, 사랑은 하나의 작품이 되어 완성된다는 내용으로써 내용 컨셉과 맞는 알앤비 일렉트로닉소울뮤직으로 표현되었다. 타이틀곡 녹음만 장장 일주일 넘게 진행되어 오면서 꼼꼼하고도 세밀한 아티스트의 의도가 숨겨져 있다는 후문. 브릿지로 곡이 진행되면서 드러나는 리듬 체인지는 곡의 진행에 긴장감을 유지하며 트렌드에 맞게 작, 편곡 된 감각을 엿볼 수 있다. 사랑의 교감이 완성되어 작품을 남기듯 곡 또한 대중적인 하나의 작품으로 남기에 손색이 없는 곡이다.
Gold - 세련된 synth사운드와 피아노의 음색이 아름답지만 왠지 모를 숙연함을 더하는 곡이다. 특히 효민이 직접 가사에 참여하여 팬들에게 진심 어린 마음을 전달하려 노력했으며, 사랑하는 이의 사랑을 통해 삶의 희망을 가지며 나아갈 수 있다는 진솔하고 따뜻한 내용을 담고 있다.
Road trip - 화려한 브라스와 중독성있는 멜로디라인의 곡으로 대중들에게 쉽게 다가갈 수 있는 요소가 있는 곡이다. 리드미컬한 보컬로 곡의 분위기를 살려 사랑하는 이와의 드라이브를 생동감 있게 표현한 것이 포인트이다.
아직은 - 8분의 6박자 곡으로 효민이 직접 작곡, 작사에 참여했으며 비스트의 용준형이 작사를 맡아 화제가 된 곡이다. 블루시한 분위기에 가혹하지만 잊어야 하는 이를 그리워하며 지체되는 갈등을 표현하려 보컬 자체에 밴딩과 허스키함을 더하도록 하였다. 특히 호소력짙은 보컬을 통해 감성적인 발라드 사운드를 들을 수 있고 베이시스트 이연준이 참여하였다.
우리의 이야기를 우리만 모르는 채 - 효민이 직접 작사, 작곡 참여한 두 번째 자작곡으로 혼자만의 사랑을 겪어 본 경험이 있다면 공감할 수 있는 가사 내용이 담겨있다. 또한 어쿠스틱 피아노와 기타선율이 어우러진 밝은 느낌의 곡이며 시원시원한 밴드 사운드와 리드미컬한 멜로디로 팬들의 마음을 사로 잡는 밴드 사운드뮤직. 우리의 이야기를 우리만 모른다는 내용의 모순적이며 함축적 의미를 가진 이 곡은 밴드 소란의 멤버로 활동중인 기타리스트 이태욱이 세션으로 참여하였다
