앞서 아이오아이의 응원가 ‘손에 손잡고’ 발표 소식으로 화제를 모은 이 곡은 국내 최대 프랜차이즈 업체에서 8월 4일부터 16일까지 진행한 ‘대한민국 파이팅’캠페인에 참여한 약 2만 4천 여명의 일반인들 중 12명을 추첨해 이번 음원이 완성 되었다.
인기 걸그룹 아이오아이와 대한민국을 응원하는 국민들의 목소리를 이 노래에 함께 담아 선수들에게 힘을 줄 수 있도록 준비했다.
작곡가인 조지오 모로더는 도나 서머의 ‘Hot Stuff’, 아이린 카라의 ‘Flashdance…What a Feeling’(영화 ‘플래시댄스’ 주제가), 베를린의 ‘Take My Breath Away’(영화 ‘탑건’)까지, 수 많은 히트곡을 작곡하였고, 1988년 서울 올림픽을 위해 만든 명곡 “손에 손잡고”을 만들었을 뿐만 아니라, 최근에도 카일리 미노그, 시아, 브리트니 스피어스, 데이비드 게타등과 음악을 발표하고 있는 현존 최고의 작곡가이다.
