GOT7이 새 미니앨범 'FLIGHT LOG : DEPARTURE'를 발표한다.
지난 2015년 ‘딱 좋아’, ‘니가 하면’ 등 중독성 강한 멜로디로 음악 팬들을 사로잡은 GOT7이 더욱 업그레이드 된 음악으로 돌아왔다.
3월 21일 발매된 GOT7의 미니앨범 'FLIGHT LOG : DEPARTURE'는 최근 KBS 2TV 수목드라마 '태양의 후예' OST 'Everytime'을 작업한 작곡가 'earattack'과 '변방의킥소리'를 중심으로 새롭게 포진된 프로듀서진이 참여, GOT7의 새로운 모습을 발견할 수 있는 앨범으로 탄생됐다.
이미 예고된 대로 이번 미니앨범을 통해 GOT7 멤버들은 작사-작곡에 참여하며 음악적 역량을 맘껏 발휘했다. 공동 프로듀서로 새롭게 가세한 멤버들은 기존에 GOT7이 선보이지 않았던 새로운 장르의 음악을 도입, 신선함을 더했다. 또한 JYP 소속 신예 밴드 DAY6의 멤버 Young K가 작사에 참여하여 더욱 든든한 앨범이 됐다.
'FLIGHT LOG : DEPARTURE'는 20대가 된 일곱 멤버들의 순수한 감정과 거침없는 열정이 담겨있다. 사랑과 우정을 주제로 한 이번 앨범에는 한 여자를 향해 달려가는 청춘의 노랫말로 가득 차있다.
이번 미니앨범에는 멤버 주니어가 작사-작곡에 참여한 ‘못하겠어’, 유겸, 마크가 작곡에 참여하고 뱀뱀이 랩메이킹에 참여한 ‘빛이나’, 영재가 데뷔 이후 처음으로 선보이는 곡 ‘REWIND’, 리더 JB가 작사-작곡에 참여한 ‘FISH’, 'Something Good’ ‘HOME RUN’ 등 3곡을 비롯해 총 8곡이 수록돼 있다.
지난해 9월 발매한 미니앨범 ‘MAD’로 훌쩍 성장한 모습을 보여준 GOT7은 일본, 중국 등 각종 음원 차트 1위를 휩쓸며 대세 아이돌 반열에 올랐다. 올해 서울 단독공연과 글로벌 투어를 기획, 글로벌한 위상과 인기를 입증한 만큼 이번 콘서트에 대한 관심도 더욱 뜨거울 전망이다. 한류를 이끄는 대세 K-POP 그룹의 빛나는 재치와 특유의 청량한 에너지를 자랑하는 GOT7의 행보에 주목하자!
